The convention will be held at the Edith Kanaka‘ole Multipurpose Stadium in Hilo. The gates open at 8 a.m. all three days and the convention concludes at 3:35 p.m. on Sunday.

The daily themes and titles of program parts are based on passages of scripture. Friday’s theme will be “The Truth Will Set You Free,” taken from John 8:32.

Hawaii Island Circuit Overseer Abraham Lincoln will present the first talk, “How We Know God’s Word Is Truth,” taken from the scripture at 1 Thessalonians 2:13.

There will be two live dramas. The first on Friday will help everyone cope with family tragedy, drawing strength from the Bible. Delano Choy Jr. of the Mountain View congregation will present this drama. Another drama will be a period costumed drama, “Prepare Your Heart For The Trials Ahead,” presented by Ray Seaver.

Most of the speakers are from Hawaii Island, but there will be a visiting speaker, Guy Pierce, from Watchtower Bible And Tract Society in New York.

Admission is free; no collections are taken. Conventions of Jehovah’s Witnesses are supported entirely by voluntary donations.

The Witnesses launched this series of conventions in the United States during May and will continue the programs worldwide through the end of December. The convention is open to all. For more information, or to download a free program, visit http://www.jw.org/en/jehovahs-witnesses/conventions/.
